17 Game Changing Health Benefits Of Moringa Powder - Is It Really A Superfood?
I discovered the health benefits of Moringa powder thanks to Ayurveda.
This was long before Moringa became a ‘superfood’ and a fad. Here's the story...
Some years ago I was invited to a friend's house for lunch and she served sambar with drumsticks. When I asked her where she got the drumsticks, she pointed to a tree in her garden.
My friend told me that these delicious seed pods (or drumsticks) came from this tree called Moringa. And that’s what led me to discover this tree and the numerous health benefits of Moringa powder.
If you don’t know much about this tree, let me first tell you what Moringa is.
Moringa oleifera is a tree which is known by different names in various countries. It is also called Moringa, drumstick tree, horseradish tree, ben oil tree and benzoil tree.
Curious where the Moringa tree grows?
Well, although the Moringa tree is native to North Western India, it has spread throughout parts of Asia, africa and Latin America because it grows pretty fast and survives even with very little water.
Now that the Moringa tree is so widespread, it is being in many ways...
Each part of this tree is super useful - right from the leaves, bark, gum, flowers, roots, seeds, seed pods to the oil. Not so long ago, Moringa was labeled as a superfood and became a rage in the wellness world.
The most popular form of Moringa being used these days is - Moringa leaf powder and capsules.
